Water System Rehabilitation
This project addresses the reconstruction of water systems at Marion Lake Campground & Moosehead Lake Campground on the Ottawa National Forest in northern Michigan and the work primarily included; providing & constructing solar powered water pumping systems (including pole mounted solar panels, submersible pumps, controls, and batteries at both campgrounds); constructing a pump house, approximately 1,850 feet of one inch diameter HDPE shallow-burial waterline, valves, hydrants & drains at Marion Lake Campground; abandonment of wells as indicated in plans documents; and site restoration of seeding and mulching.
