Upgrade Entrances Construction

The project includes upgrading the front main entrance and the rear entry adjacent to the canteen dining room and has three phases. The work at the front entrance involved removing two granite faced columns, two exterior doors & glass, at the north side of the entrance and installing a new sliding door system. The existing interior double doors & glass in the vestibule were removed and replaced with a 12’ 2-wing revolving door and single 4’ door at the southern edge of the vestibule. In addition, a portion of the lobby floor was replaced, and lobby area received finish and lighting upgrades. The work at the rear entrance involved constructing a new vestibule along the dining room with a new entry door. Also, the asphalt & concrete areas were removed and replaced with new concrete; includes re-grading, new plumbing, among other items. Work included architectural, structural, fire protection, HVAC, Plumbing, electrical, earthwork, and other aspects of construction as required by the drawings and specifications.
