Upgrade Finishes ICU

This project involved Updating Finishes in the Intensive Care Unit of the Iowa City VA Health Care System, Medical Center: Work included demolition of existing ICU rooms, Existing ICU Mechanical systems, and support functions. Construction of (10) new ICU rooms, including new ICU Nurse Server cabinets, counters, doors, hardware, ceilings, flooring, painting, Medical Booms, new Custom Design Central Monitoring Station, Ward Clerk Desk, and a Central Collaboration Station with (6) smaller observation stations located outside the new ICU Rooms. New mechanical systems were added to the space along with upgrades to the existing HVAC system. Upgrades to the (2) Isolation rooms included new plumbing, new med gas systems, and new electrical systems completed the project.
