Transfer House Struct Repairs

This project included the repair and replacement of structural framing in the Fines Crusher Transfer House at the United Taconite facility in Forbes, Minnesota. The project required the replacement of structural steel and floor plating. Project included removal & reinstallation of sheeting for access, decking and structural steel components. All conveyors were temporarily supported so the facility could still be in operation during this repair. Included approximately 100,000 lbs of new structural steel, 20,000 lbs of repair structure, and 100,000 lbs of new steel deck material.
