Kingsford Armory Renovations

Project consisted of selective building demolition and interior remodeling. The floor slabs at the existing vehicle storage and maintenance bays were demolished to accommodate new drainage systems and structural footings. Masonry partitions were constructed within the existing building envelope to enclose unit dispatch, break room, lockers, tool room, and shop office spaces. Mezzanines were constructed above these spaces for storage and mechanical equipment. A new concrete slab was places and sloped to accommodate the updated drainage system. All mechanical system throughout the maintenance area was replaced. An overhead bridge crane will be constructed and installed in the maintenance area.
